Create a safe and fun learning environment promoting and learning about safe gun handling while developing professional level shooting skills.
Short history of our team
Our program started in 2019 when we realized that a youth speed shooting team did not exist in the Kansas City area. We became part of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation and created a Scholastic Action Shooting Sports team known as the KC Steel Raiders. Our goal has always remained our priority which is safety. Our 4 basic rules are 1) Safety 2) Safety 3) Safety 4) Have Fun. If you ask our participants why is our first three rules the same, all of our participants respond with, that is how important it is. It is absolutely amazing to see how safe our participants are and the future safety ambassadors they become.
National Recognition
In our short history our team has gone from a new start up to a Nationally recognized National Championship Team in various categories and disciplines! Our training program begins with fundamentals of safe firearm handling as we move towards basic operation. Then as participants progress, we move towards intermediate and advanced skills! Our program is developed by Grand Master rated speed shooters and is a proven recipe for success! The same methods we use as Grand Master rated shooters are the same methods we pass along to our participants! Our program works because it has real world experience behind it!
